Overview
Around 40 participants from SRH Heidelberg, the University of Central Asia, and Paragon International University
joined our online kickoff to introduce teams, align expectations, and set up study groups. We reviewed funding context,
shared institutional strengths, and discussed how AI, data, and physics‑driven methods can support sustainability goals across
partner regions.
BWS — Funding Context
The Baden‑Württemberg Stiftung supports research, education, and sustainable development with an emphasis on
innovation and international collaboration. Our project aligns with these goals by promoting practical AI‑powered solutions
for environmental management, cross‑cultural teamwork, and student skill‑building.
- Expectations: interdisciplinary cooperation; hands‑on student training in AI & sustainability
- Key Outcomes: prototypes & dashboards; stronger SRH–UCA–Paragon partnerships; an e‑book of results
- Long‑term impact: sustained collaborations and student‑led contributions to SDGs
Study Groups & Mentoring Framework
Groups are formed around complementary skills and interests, mixing partners across countries. Each group has a mentor,
a lightweight backlog, and regular checkpoints.
- Projects overview — group themes and descriptions
- Mentoring cadence: bi‑weekly check‑ins; milestones tracked per 4–6 weeks
- Collaboration: Teams channels, shared docs, code repositories, and demo days
